Greeters Ministries

A smiling face, a warm handshake, and a friendly greeting make people feel welcome as bulletins or other written materials are given and quick information references for first-time guests are made. Guests and new members are often intimidated when visiting a new church. Our mission is to disarm their fears and help them feel at home. If you don’t know where to begin serving, then this ministry is a great place to start! We not only fellowship on Sundays, but throughout the week! Share God with people who are in need.

Ushers Ministries

Perhaps the most visible of all ministry teams, ushers help seat people, handle crowd control, answer a multitude of questions, and take the offering.

Van Ministry

It is our belief that anyone and everyone should be able to attend.  If you need a ride to church in the Cheraw area please call 843-537-2297.   

Facilities Care Ministries 

This is the behind-the-scenes crew. Painting, cleaning, fixing, and building projects are just some of the things to be done around church. There are flexible hours all during the week available to fit your schedule.  CFWC’s board members oversee the success of this ministry.

Security Ministries

The Security Ministry exists to provide a safe worship environment for all at CFWC during services and other events as church needs dictate. Security challenges include the need for significant growth in volunteer participation at CFWC, dedicated security and law enforcement personnel on a volunteer basis. As a church, we are faced with increasing threats of varying types that can affect ministry. One just needs to watch the news. Our goal is to simply be trained eyes and ears of the church. We apply reasonable, basic security measures to keep all safe and to maximize the flow of ministry, unaffected worship and teaching that is to take place at CFWC facilities and events
